NHSC banned paraquat, glyphosate and chlorpyrifos The National Hazardous Substances Committee (NHSC) decided to ban paraquat, glyphosate and chlorpyrifos nullified. Paraquat and glyphosate are herbicides — chlorpyrifos is a pesticide. The Supreme Administrative Court has classified paraquat, glyphosate and chlorpyrifos are classified Type of 3 toxins. NHSC’s resolution to ban the toxins and start the prohibition process from June 1, 2020.
